The Quadrant Growth Fund (“Quadrant”) has made a major investment in Modibodi, who are a leading Australian designer, developer and provider of sustainable personal hygiene apparel for periods, incontinence, perspiration and pregnancy. Quadrant will partner with the Founder of the business, Kristy Chong.

In 2013, Kristy recognised a significant gap in the market for products that are designed to address everyday problems facing women and men, while having a positive impact on our environment. Leveraging its patented Modifier Technology, Modibodi products are reusable and allow air to flow through while absorbing period flow, bladder leaks, sweat and breastmilk. Modibodi is an award-winning business and now the leading player in Australia with a strong market position globally in particular in the United Kingdom and France with close to 200,000 active customers.

Justin Ryan, Managing Partner of Quadrant said “We are excited to be partnering with Kristy and the Modibodi team in improving people’s lives and making a positive environmental impact. We were attracted to Modibodi’s innovative products, its strong brand and its rapid global growth through a scalable ecommerce platform.”

Simon Pither, Partner of Quadrant said “Modibodi is an authentic, mission driven, high growth disrupter.”
Kristy Chong, CEO and Founder of Modibodi said “Partnering with Quadrant will allow us to deliver our innovative, protective and supportive apparel to more customers globally, while at the same time strengthening our business. Our products not only delight our customers but have a positive social impact on both humanity and our environment.”

Modibodi will be the third investment from the $400 million Quadrant Growth Fund which was raised in April this year.

Quadrant was advised by Deloitte Corporate Finance, Gilbert + Tobin and LEK. Modibodi was advised by Deloitte Corporate Finance, Diana D’Ambra and K&L Gates.
