Quadrant Private Equity has closed its seventh fund - Quadrant Private Equity No. 4 - raising $850 million. Investors are local and international wholesale superannuation funds and institutions. The fund had a target raising of $750 million with investor appetite beyond the hard cap of $850 million.
QPE4 will continue the successful strategy of previous Quadrant funds and invest in mid market opportunities in Australia and New Zealand through management buyouts and expansion capital . The buyout deals will be in an enterprise value range of $100 million to $500 million.
